Beasly Knob is a very steep and difficult riding area near
Blairsville in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Most of the trails are steep and deeply
rutted out. In my opinion this area is for experts only.
Examining the map at the northern ATV parking lot
Cruising along one of the only easy portions of the trail on a
dirt bike
The trails are nearly impassible after it has rained.
Notice all of the lose mud.
Trails are very steep and rutted. Trails are also wide
enough for Jeeps
Slow go in the steep slippery mud in the mountains of North
Georgia
The trails were too tough even for my DRZ
The hills required lots of speed to reach the top.
This hill is much steeper than it appears in the picture.
Directions: From Blairsville take US HWY 76 North about 3 miles
past the Waffle House. You will see several large propane
tanks on the right and a sign pointing to the trail. Turn
here and follow the signs.
